Fall Work Day

On October 17, the Alumni Association is partnering with Student Life to offer alums an opportunity to serve alongside fellow alums and current students as we seek to restore our world.

For the past 18 years, the Fall Work Day has been a tradition for TWU students. Through Local Outreach, a division of Student Life, small groups of TWU students head out into the community to serve by cleaning houses, painting fences, weeding gardens, or a variety of other practical tasks. In all these ways TWU students are serving others with generosity and love.

This year the Alumni Association will be partnering with Student Life, adding alums to groups of students and creating groups of alums, to serve through the Fall Work Day. As we strive to live out the TWU Alumni Way, the Fall Work Day is a practical way alums can seek to restore in their communities.

There are many ways to get involved: be a team captain; recruit your alum friends to serve with you; be a team member; suggest a work site; ask for help if you’re in a season where you need some; work with our office to coordinate a work site outside of the lower mainland.
